Bridgton’s Fourth Of July Parade
Theme: Bring in the Clowns


Parade Set Up/Line Up Locations:
            Floats, Fire Trucks, Rescue Units – Hancock Lumber
            Old Cars – See BOB at the WHITE TENT
            Shriners, Horses – Town Garage behind Hannaford
            Town Band - Between True Value and Mack’s Place

 Float Set Up Time: Gates at Hancock Lumber will open at 9:30 a.m. (These gates will be closed and locked when the last float leaves the yard so please NO PARKING AT HANCOCK LUMBER as you will be locked in.)

Parade Line Up Time: 10 AM
Parade Judging Time: 11 AM
Parade Kickoff Time: 12 Noon

Parade Route: 1 MILE - Parade will depart and head South along Rte 302 to the nursing home where it will enter the parking lot for the viewing of the nursing home residents and then proceed out of the parking lot and head North along Route 302 to Pondicherrry Square. From Pondicherry Square the parade immediately turns to the West along Main Street (Rte 302) and continues to the top of Main Hill by the Civil War Monument.

Note: The parade does not travel down Highland Road.

 No Walkers or Horses to the Nursing Home

Anyone going to the Nursing Home, be sure to HONK, WAVE, AND FEEL FREE TO MAKE SOME NOISE- THEY LOVE A PARADE!

Parade "Quiet Zone" (No sirens, horns etc. Area is provided for elderly, young children and others with sensitive hearing.)
Ricky’s Diner to the Methodist Church

All candy or handouts must be handed out by walkers and not thrown from cars, trucks, floats, or any other such moving vehicle for the sake of child safety.
